OUR COMMITMENTS
Our planet is drowning in over-consumption and pollution. All of us living on planet Earth need to rethink the way we live. At Redefined Fashion, we have set ambitious sustainability goals for ourselves, focussing on the areas where we know that we can make the largest impact. This is our commitment to planet Earth.

MATERIALS & RECYCLING
Our goal is to reach 75% preferred materials in all our collections by 2030 and 70% preferred materials in our NOOS (Never-Out-Of-Stock) collections by 2028. Multiple of our products are GOTS and GRS certified.

CLEAN ENERGY
We want to use renewable energy in our office facilities from sustainable sources such as Danish windmills. At the same time, we will aim to reduce our energy consumption.

PACKING & WASTE
We want to increase the percentage of recycled and reused plastics and cardboard in our packaging to 100%. At the same time, we aim to reduce 50% less plastic from single polybags, by using new packing methods. We will reduce our waste as much as possible and start our own waste sorting system in order to increase the level of recycling.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Our CSR Policy and Code of Conduct stipulate our demands when it comes to social responsibility at the factories. Besides this, we are focusing on empowering women e.g., through our new mentor program for ambitious, female entrepreneurs and charities.
YOUR COMMITMENT
We’re in this together. We try to do our part in trying to make our part of the fashion world more sustainable, but you can do your part as well. Below is some advice from us if you want to make more sustainable fashion choices.

Care & Repair
- Wash less (only wash your clothes when they are actually dirty or smell).
- Wash at lower temperatures (30 degrees is often enough to get your clothes clean)
- Only use a tumble dry when absolutely necessary (besides saving energy, your clothes won’t wear out as quickly)
- Only iron when necessary (this will save energy as well).
- Make small repairments yourself or send the item to a tailor to be repaired (this will also save you money).
- When your clothes can no longer be used, drop them off at a secondhand store or give them to a friend, so they can be recycled.

Conscious Fashion Choices
Make small everyday choices - Small steps also count. All the small changes each of us can make on a daily basis, such as saying no to a plastic bag in the store or buying the more sustainable item, in the long run add up and make a real impact.

Natural is not always better
Natural fibres are not necessary always the more sustainable option. Where recycled materials entail that the raw material can be used more than once, for example recycled polyester, some natural fibres take up many resources until they have been processed enough to be used to make garments. It’s about educating yourself on your choices and making the right ones.

Be Open Minded
It’s about being open-minded and saying yes to trying out new fabrics and accepting new technologies, when it comes to new types of fibres in your garments. There are many sustainable innovations already and many more to come.
